TESTIMONIALS

Up to now, you have read my words. Below are the words of some of the tourists whom I've guided:

Gaby and Seth: "Meir, You made our trip very special and memorable. You are a superb guide!"

Steve and Anne: "Nothing can express our thanks -You are a great guide and an even better person. Be well!"

Eric: "We packed a lot into a long but very worthwhile day. Baptism/rededication was especially meaningful to my  daughter in a very restful place for others. Tour guide Meir Sheffer did an outstanding job with good information from both Jewish and Christian, historical and current perspectives without pushing any particular viewpoint. He also knew how to communicate without saying too much - letting us enjoy the ride as we went. Kudos!"

Dan: "This was an amazing trip. We went to Jerusalem and had a wonderful experience, but the tour Dr. Meir took us through was nothing but the most amazing time we had in Israel. Even the things I was aware of, he explained it in the most interesting and impressive way to my astonishment. I really appreciate his depth of knowledge and he really took his time to explain everything in detail. We really enjoyed having him as our guide."

Nancy: " The guide makes all the difference - Dr. Meir Sheffer is the best! … Tour guide, Meir Sheffer… was such a great guide for our group that we specifically asked for him to lead two of our other "Bein Harim" Tours during our stay. Given that it was still a holiday in Israel and not a holiday but a day of strike in Palestine (the location of Bethlehem), I was anxious about our travel. Meir's calm professorial manner helped us forget the modern-day tensions which made it possible for us to immerse ourselves in the religious history (the purpose of our trip). We entered Bethlehem and toured the Chapel of the Shepherd's Field and from there, we went to the Church of the Nativity. There Meir was met by a colleague, Jaber, an Arab Christian, and together they led us through the Basilica and to see the birthplace ("manger") where Jesus was born. Together Meir and Jaber made a great team - a non-practicing Jew and a passionate Arab Christian. Following lunch, we loaded into the air-conditioned van (it was 100 degrees that day so this van feature was necessary) and made our way to Jericho - the world's oldest city. We toured Jericho and then drove to see the location on the Jordan River where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. What a day!"

Kimberly: "Best Tour of My Life!!!! … This tour of the City of David was amazing. Our tour guide, Meir Sheffer must have a PHD in History because his core knowledge and passion for Jerusalem took my breath away… I still can't believe that a tour could be this spectacular. I never could have imagined it... but feel so fortunate to get this lucky. Best way EVER ago discover, explore, learn, and take in such an incredible piece of history. I can't even thank Meir Sheffer enough for treating our entire tour as if we were part of his very own family. It was incredible, and I highly recommend this tour... and tour guide."

Peter, Connie, and Daniel: "Three very appreciative family members want to say thank you so very much for an unusually great day in Jerusalem. We will call you at 052-5117928 when we return to Israel. You are a very special tour guide and person. With all the best wishes."

Larry: "Our tours were tremendous. Our guide [Meir Sheffer] was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I would recommend him to anyone. We have travelled a lot with many guides and found him to be top drawer."

Joe: "This was an excellent and intimate tour. Our guide Meir Sheffer was very knowledgeable and took time to answer questions and show us everything from the Mount of Olives to Old Jerusalem. I would recommend this tour and guide to everyone. Thank You Meir for making my first trip to Israel very memorable."

 • Andrej: "Our guide was Meir, very kind and very educated person. He has answer on any question relating to the tour subject, or Jerusalem, or Israel history... We had a wonderful experience to go though some most fascinating places of Jerusalem with a great guide!"
